Shri. Nikhil Wagle (1990s)
In the 1990s, Kala Creations—then known as Ekta Enterprises—collaborated with veteran Marathi journalist and publisher Nikhil Wagle on Mahanagar newspaper and Chanderi magazine. This association marked an important phase in our editorial design journey and paved the way for enduring creative partnerships. During this collaboration, we had the opportunity to work closely with senior professionals Mukund Karnik and Subodh Pathye, gaining valuable experience in traditional print-era publishing and newsroom workflows.
Designing Newsletters for RCF (1990s & 2000s)
Our journey also includes designing newsletters for esteemed organizations such as RCF (Rashtriya Chemicals and Fertilizers Limited) in the late 90s to early 2000s—supporting internal communication with clear, structured, and impactful print design.
Editorial Design : Vivek Saptahik (1990s)
In the 1990s, we undertook editorial design work for Vivek Saptahik, contributing to the visual presentation and layout of this respected weekly magazine. At a time when publishing relied on traditional print processes, our work focused on structured layouts, readability, and consistent design—reflecting the craft of pre-digital editorial design.
3 Decade Design Partnership : MECO (Since 1994)
For over three decades, we have been providing end-to-end design and marketing services to MECO Instruments, a well known name in Metering Industry. From brand communication and product collaterals to ongoing marketing support, we continue to manage all aspects of their design and marketing needs—reflecting a long-standing partnership built on trust, consistency, and shared growth.
Traditional Print Craftsmanship : Ceasefire (1990s)
In the 1990s, during the era of traditional printing, we print work for Ceasefire Industries. Our involvement included hands-on screen printing processes, from artwork preparation to the creation of master screens for production. This phase reflects our deep technical understanding of print and craftsmanship—built long before digital workflows became the industry standard.
Long-Term Design Partnership : Manashakti Research Centre (1990s)
We have had the privilege of providing long-term design services to Manashakti Research Centre. During this association, we were honored with an award presented by Sri Sri Ravi Shankar for our design contributions to an event organized by Manashakti Research Centre. We continue to remain connected with the organization, sharing a relationship built on trust, service, and shared values.
Healthcare Design Partnership : Janak Healthcare Pvt. Ltd. (1990s)
Ever noticed those hospital beds that became a familiar sight across medical facilities in the early 2000s? We partnered with Janak Healthcare Private Limited—a leading Indian manufacturer of medical furniture, ICU beds, and operation theatre solutions—to design their product leaflets, catalogs, and instruction manuals. Our work helped translate complex medical products into clear, user-friendly, and impactful print communication for hospitals nationwide.
Social Impact & Government Projects (2022)
In 2022, we proudly delivered our design services to UNICEF,Women and Child Development Department, Government of Maharashtra & Centre for Social and Behaviour Change Communication - SBC3 —contributing to meaningful initiatives and public awareness campaigns with purpose-driven design.
Design : EPCES Monthly Magazine (2017)
In 2017, we designed monthly magazines for EPCES. As a multi-product export promotion council representing major industrial sectors of the country, EPCES required structured, informative, and visually consistent editorial design. Our work supported clear industry communication through well-crafted layouts and print-ready publications.
Packaging Design : Metropolis Healthcare
We also provided packaging design services for Metropolis Healthcare, creating clean, precise, and compliant designs aligned with the brand’s diagnostic standards. Our focus was on clarity, usability, and professional presentation suited for healthcare environments.
